Barba Negra Lodge is one of the cutest places in the area. It is set on a secondary public road which leads to pure serenity. Incidentally, it is on the non-dusty side of the road, LOL.

The little lodge was handcrafted during a couple years by the owner. He has built a nice little business over the years outside of COVID. The lodge is hostel style and fully enclosed and screened in rooms. They offer a number of rooms and various arrangements of spaces for single people, couples, or families. next to the rooms is a huge palapa community area where you can enjoy a book in a hammock or use the community kitchen to prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The pool area is where most decide to enjoy their evenings or early mornings before heading out to explore the area.

p and down fiber optic internet, electricity, and the possibility for phone service if you wanted it. There is full cel signal at this location. There is Playa Negra’s or Paraiso’s grocery store just a minute in either direction on the main road.
