David “Clem” Major was introduced to me by my best friends Andre and Lisa Vander. Clem, Lisa, and Andre were fellow pilots in California and originally hoped to open the business together. Andre and Lisa came early to scout the landscape and settled in the Tamarindo area with their young family. When Clem came a few years later the Vanders were ensconced in Villa Real with their son in local schools. In addition conditions in the Tamarindo area were not suitable due to  lack of suitable local runways and wind conditions. So Clem found a suitable location in beautiful Aranjuez Puntarenas an hour or so south of Tamarindo. Clem was a well known Hollywood aerial cinematographer stunt man and pilot and definitely  looks the part. He is a seasoned pilot and sky dive instructor with awards and accolades  that decorate his hangar from all over the world. Clem was so well known and respected in the industry that he was tapped by president Bush’s team and on the jump when Bush made his epic sky dive in his 90s
